This year’s Harvest Festival was an unforgettable experience for Cinders & Salt as we joined some of the finest culinary talents and wine enthusiasts in celebrating the incredible flavors of our region. The festival, hosted by the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, is a beloved tradition that brings together the community, local artisans, and top chefs, all with a shared passion for food and philanthropy. Our team was thrilled to be a part of this event, and we had a wonderful time connecting with everyone who stopped by our booth to savor a taste of what makes Cinders & Salt unique.

One of the highlights of the weekend was the chance to introduce our special dish crafted exclusively for the festival: Fire-Roasted Gulf Oysters with black garlic chimichurri and a sprinkle of truffle tremor cheese. These oysters, sourced from the pristine waters of the Gulf, were roasted to perfection, and each bite captured the essence of our coastal heritage. The dish was a labor of love, designed to showcase fresh local ingredients in a way that brings out their natural flavors, complemented by the earthy richness of black garlic and the creamy tang of truffle cheese. Festival-goers gave us incredible feedback, with many stopping by to learn more about how we created this standout dish.

At Cinders & Salt, we’re passionate about bringing a bit of creativity to classic Gulf Coast cuisine, and the Harvest Festival provided the perfect setting to share this vision. Our team enjoyed meeting so many new faces and catching up with returning clients, sharing laughs and stories over food. The warm, inviting atmosphere of the festival made it easy for everyone to relax, mingle, and appreciate the vibrant culinary scene we’re lucky to be part of. The camaraderie among chefs, vendors, and guests truly made it a celebration of community.

Beyond the food and festivities, the Harvest Festival supports an important cause, with proceeds going toward local children’s charities through the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation. We’re proud to stand alongside so many others in giving back to our community, and being part of an event that does so much good added a deeper meaning to the experience. It was heartwarming to see so many people come together in support of this mission, reinforcing the spirit of giving that makes the Harvest Festival so special.
